BRISWA 2.0(#H.E.A.R)

Education, Sport, and Inclusion: The new BRISWA 2.0 (#HEAR) project course is now online.

In the higher education and sports landscape,   SYDIC (SYstem Dynamics Italian Chapter)   ‘s commitment to inclusion and the fight against all forms of discrimination takes another step forward. The new training course developed as part of the European project   BRISWA 2.0 –   Higher Education Against Racism (#HEAR)   , an initiative of which SYDIC is proud to be a partner, is officially online.

An innovative training program against racism in sport

The course represents a cutting-edge educational program, designed specifically for   students, teachers, coaches, and sports professionals   .   The primary goal is to provide solid, effective theoretical and practical tools to fully understand the dynamics of racism and learn how to actively combat it, particularly in the football and university contexts.

Through interactive teaching and focused on solving real-world problems, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore realistic scenarios   related to social and behavioral dynamics in sports environments.

  • Test   concrete intervention strategies for conflict management and prevention.

  • Analyze the key role of education, rules, transparency, and trust, essential elements in building more inclusive, equitable, and accountable football and academic environments

The methodology and impact of the BRISWA 2.0 project

The course is part of BRISWA 2.0’s broader mission: to transform academic research into concrete tools for raising awareness and bringing about change. Leveraging advanced methodological approaches (including interactive simulations based on System Dynamics), the training program demonstrates how lasting cultural change cannot rely solely on short-term punitive measures or sanctions, but requires a long-term institutional commitment based on dialogue, transparency, and civic and sports education.

How to participate

The course is entirely  free  and accessible online on the project’s dedicated platform.
