I am a postdoc in the field of population health nutrition at the National Institute for Health Innovation, University of Auckland. I obtained my PhD in Health Sciences (2012) from the VU University Amsterdam. My heart lies within food policy, food systems and food pricing research. My current work includes: 1) 3-year Fellowship on developing food systems research for public health; 2) study combining simulation modelling and experimental methods to estimate more precise food price elasticities; 3) research on optimal food pricing strategies for health and climate change.
